Special Shows

Throughout our regular season of shows, George Drama puts on many special one-night shows, because we just can't live without the joy of creating a performance! These shows, of course, take on many forms!

Dessert Theatre: 7pm October 2, February 19

An ingenious George Drama tradition that combines excellent food and great performances from our talented Drama Club members, Dessert Theatre takes dinner theatre and turns it on its head! Why not make dinner theatre even more great by skipping dinner and going straight for dessert?

Put on by our charming, hilarious, and darn good-lookin' improv troupe [panda]MONIUM!, this riotous comedy show is sure to bring you a chuckle. Inspired the finest traditions of improvisational theatre such as The Second City and "Whose Line Is It Anyway?", we try to bring our members and audiences to the realization that theatre needs no prior knowledge or extensive preparation to be a fantastic experience!

A George Drama take on a comedy classic, FNL is a sketch comedy show entirely written, concieved, and performed by George Drama students. True to its inspiration, FNL also includes performances of musical guests from the George community.

Showcase Productions

Showcase productions are our way of showing off the parts of GW's amazing theatre department in ways that the community does not necessarily always get to see: GW theatre classroom productions, Individual Events Showcase pieces for Thespian Conference, and other student work.
